We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of The Bluffs yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Easy hiking trails, plus a bluff overlooking the Tennessee River and downtown Knoxville.
What runners say about The Bluffs
“And the lower trail is beautiful as you go down and has a cool cave along the rock wall eventually”
“Easy trail, the turnoff for the parking lot is easy to miss.”
Nice very short walk to the top..you can take the Longer..muddier..less traveled path there and it's to your left a few hundred feet after you start..never crowded when I go..so dogs get to have fun..
Easy trail, the turnoff for the parking lot is easy to miss. It's a big gravel lot by an apartment complex, look downhill off the side of the road and that big pit with the eroded clay is where you park to start the walk up.
I love this little place. The view from the upper trail is a nice view of the city. And the lower trail is beautiful as you go down and has a cool cave along the rock wall eventually
It is a nice trail with an amazing view at the end. There is a lot of garbage though.

“A little hard to find the trailhead if you don't know what you're looking for, but worth the stop for a short hike to the edge of the bluff.”
“Great place to take the dogs on a walk in to see a nice view of the river”
