Confirmed from The Lewis and Clark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“As such a great View, such a great place to see where the Kansas and Missouri Rivers come together.”

Good walk with the family with some interesting information and history. There was grafitti everywhere which to some might look bad. The parking had quite a few people hanging out and doing things I don’t want my kids around.

It's a nice park to visit I love the walking trails. It's all paved pretty much right along the river

★★★★☆ — Shirley , Apr 2023

The confluence of the Kaw and Missouri Rivers is a powerful spot to enjoy an amazing view of Kansas City and soak up some history. nice trail, park, outdoor amphitheater, boat ramp.

★★★★★ — Jim , Jan 2022

Cool view of the river and Kansas City in the background. Nice long bike paths leading to the park area. Good parking with boat ramp. Lots of historical displays with Lewis and Clark and Indians of the area.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
