Confirmed from The Trails at Squabble Creek's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about The Trails at Squabble Creek

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (306 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“They are well maintained, clearly sign posted and hikers and bikers are cleverly directed to travel in opposite directions so that accidents when meeting are less likely to occur.”

🌳 shaded & cool 5 mentions

“Easy to park, very shady, clear & easy pathways, many separated lanes for bikes & hikers.”

Giving a 4 stars because while the trails are marked for hiker or bikes, they either frequently intersect or people just do whatever, because as a hiker you'll have bikes come up on you which forces you to step off the trail. The trails are well worn and clear, plenty of critters and some running water.

My wife and I hiked here today and it was lovely! Lots of birds and nice twisty trails covered by trees! The trails are well kept and it is very relaxing

★★★★★ — David , Feb 2023

There are 6 different loops here and the first two have some pretty narly roots the next ones 3-6 have a lot more flow to them. I had a good time and was able to get all 6 in one visit. I think it took me about 40min. Lots of shade.

★★★★★ — Eric , Aug 2024

Great trails for walking, running or mountain biking. Some absolutely beautiful scenery. 4 stars because the trails could be marked a little more clear, wound up on a difficult mtn bike course I didn't plan on attempting lol!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
