I have to admit I wasn’t super excited to go when this was suggested, but I was wrong! This palm tree oasis is beautiful and it’s so amazing to see these huge palm trees that I’ve been around for so long.
Beautiful and peaceful. Gentle walk. Interesting little pieces of information dotted around on the wildlife and flowers etc. Such as beware of rattlesnakes! Great way to spend an hour or two. Be sure to take water and a hat!
This place is just massively impressive! The trees are so overwhelmingly beautiful. The only downside was the building and one of the trails was down 🫤
We are Chicago snowbirds wintering here in Coachella, and love to hike here as there are many trails to choose from with amazing views- and, well, an actual oasis in the desert is just COOL! Our most recent hike was an easy one up to Mt. Mumawet, and the down to the springs area.
