We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Three Fingers Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Three Fingers Trailhead
“Great hike, great views, beautiful wildlife.”
No place like this. Please consider joining our donating to friends of three fingers on Facebook. They're doing everything they can to preserve this one of a kind trail and look out. Life changing experience for me. So glad to have made the trek.
The bridge on the 4120 trail leading to this trail is seriously damaged and IM NOT kidding, READY TO FALL DOWN. someone could get killed stay off bridge. I'm contacting dept of transportation about it. Large cracks in supports and some missing, you can physically see it leaning
New road washout 3.5 miles before the bridge is blocked by boulders. It seems like some cars manage to squeeze through, but most people stopped here and added an extra 7 miles of biking to their trip in. To our surprise, the lookout was overcrowded on a non holiday Monday night with 17 people, so 5 of us bivy'ed below.
Beautiful, scenic drive. Have yet to hike to three fingers. Pretty bumpy road so I wouldn't drive far unless you have the clearance. Don't drive up in the snow unless you have proper recovery tools.
