Confirmed from Three Rivers Greenway - H. Kelley Jones Park Entrance Phase 2's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic paved paths for walking or cycling alongside the Congaree River.
What runners say about Three Rivers Greenway - H. Kelley Jones Park Entrance Phase 2
“A well maintained walking path, a beautiful historic area, alongside the river, great shady spot to pass even the hottest days!”
“It's also a great place to ride bikes, jog, or sit at a picnic table and have lunch.”
This is a great place for a walk to enjoy nature, the river, and seeing some of the Columbia skyline from a distance. As a Columbia native, it was nice to return to see that they have done a beautiful job with maintaining the Greenway and have many areas for just sitting and relaxing right off the main walkway.
Love this spot. The history alone is amazing and some of the history you can still even see. Recently a new kayak access point has also been added. My kids love coming here! Watch for Poison Ivey and the usual deep south things (snakes, etc.). Lots of fishing points as well. Check the water quality before swimming!
I really enjoyed running here. This entrance to the river walk is small so parking is limited there is a restroom but it is a bit, creepy. I have no other way to describe it. The trails are well maintained and local police do come through on 4wheelers.
Good shaded paved path for 12 miles total, out and back. Quite a few people on path/walkers/dogs etc. As we were on bikes. On a Sunday. Go on a week day. Bathrooms on the trail, good. Overall, a good experience.
