Confirmed from Thunderbird Conservation Park Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly hiking area with scenic trails and ample parking.
What runners say about Thunderbird Conservation Park Trail
“This trail very beautiful especially at the time of the sunrise and the sunset.”
“Well maintained trails that are clearly marked.”
“Family friendly, plenty of parking.”
Really enjoyed the hike around this park. We did the mountain loop that was almost 5.5 miles. Beautiful views for not too much strain. Just make sure you wear appropriate shoes, as it is very rocky in parts.
Very nice and easy trail. If your looking for a very mild yet satisfying workout then this trail is for you. And of course it's runner friendly if you want to push yourself to the next level. It also has great views and many different paths. There is plenty of parking so no problems there.
My friends and I love hiking in this trail. Got a lot of easy trails. Stopped by yesterday and yes, wildflowers are so beautiful❤️.
One of the best hiking trails in North Phoenix. There’s parking available on the side of the Pinnacle Peak road. Although there is plenty of parking space available it fills out very fast, so get there early. It’s the loop trail so, you can go either way. The view from the top is just amazing.
