Confirmed from Thunderbird Conservation Park Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public trails spanning easy to difficult terrain for hiking and enjoying the scenery.
What runners say about Thunderbird Conservation Park Trailhead
“It was a great hike on a beautiful day.”
Easy to moderate trail to the top of Thunderbird's west mountain. Trails are clean and easily marked. Perfect for beginners or getting a quick hike in after work to capture the sunset.
Miles of challenging footpaths with constantly changing vistas. I brought water so I was able to spend some time experiencing it.
Great little trail over here at 67th ave. Beautiful mountain, beautiful hike 🏜️
Very nice spot for hiking, enjoying the views and more. I go there to hike and take my RC rock crawlers there for some RC fun. Plenty of easy to get to parking, a few miles north of the 101 freeway. I recommend.

“There is a little parking lot there that is nice and easy to access from deer valley/67th across from mountain ridge high School.”
“Great trails, DOG friendly (keep them on a leash) and clean up after them.”
