Confirmed from Tide Views Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Fishing, canoeing and hiking spot featuring a deck-lined gazebo.
What runners say about Tide Views Preserve
“A fishing dock and pier with great views, a canoe dock and launch, a picnic dock and short boardwalks and hiking trails.”
Great location, close to home. Peaceful. Also some trails for running.
What a great place to bring friends and enjoy the scenery and listen to nature, bring your dog for a walk, or go fishing. Even better bring a kayak or canoe to ride down the river and enjoy the day! This place is a amazing with different spots to view the waterways and go fishing or just relax!
Tide views preserve is a great place to go for a walk out to see nature in the north Florida salt marsh. There is a kayak launch there as well. Check the tides before going. You can also see a nice sunset, just make sure your car is parked outside the gate or you’ll need to call the sheriff to unlock it.
A little bit of serenity from the bustle of the city without having to leave the city. Beautiful short trails through wooded areas that lead to a boardwalk and pier oner the Intracoastal marshes. You can fish from the pier. It also has picnic tables scattered throughout.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
