Confirmed from Wildwood Preserve Metropark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wildlife habitat & recreational area, site of a historic manor house with tours & cultural events.
What runners say about Wildwood Preserve Metropark
“Many people enjoy Wildwood preserve because it's closer to the city yet is still far enough away that no hustle and bustle will retire here and the air is still clean.”
“Beautiful trails (with some elevation), a fantastic playground for kids and historic buildings with tours available certain times.”
“All of the trails are very peaceful and enjoyable to hike, also the manor and surrounding buildings have a lot of rich history.”
A gem of a park right in the heart of Toledo! This park to me—as well as many others, I’m sure—is a sacred third space where you can go for a long walk in the woods, stroll through a garden, bask in the son, and commune with nature.
One of the most beautiful metro parks in Ohio! If you look hard enough you'll discover some unique flora especially, in the Spring but it's a stunning area year-round.
Well maintained trails. Beautifully landscaped around the visitor center. I don't usually recommend public restrooms but it is impressive how the restrooms in the former stable have been made to look like a stable. The window on wildlife today provided viewing of two turkeys who stopped by for a free lunch.
I'd say this is one of the top best parks in Toledo that I've been to, I especially love it in the fall or snow. All of the trails are very peaceful and enjoyable to hike, also the manor and surrounding buildings have a lot of rich history.

“All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, they had help with parking and even had a cart available to carry some from their car to the house.”
“It's a little more hilly and it has a view of the boardwalk down the hill.”
“Joe pye weed and ironweed in bloom along the Meadows Loop.”
