Confirmed from Tomoka Marsh Aquatic Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tranquil preserve made up of river & creeks popular for boating, fishing, kayaking & bird watching.
What runners say about Tomoka Marsh Aquatic Preserve
“This place is a must stop and see beautiful views beautiful little inlets into the water to fish if that’s what you choose to do or just enjoy the view.”
Hey Dustin! Engine is running great at 19.6 hours to get here from Cocoa Beach. Oh, and this place is barely inhabited, and as far as being a marsh it is quite marshy. Very slight tidal current for anchorage.
Another area favorite of locals and tourists. The Tomoka Marsh Aquatic Preserve - otherwise known as "the Loop" is a reminder of what old Florida looked like before it got so built up. A very relaxing drive and a nice park to visit.
I love Tomoka State Park! Drive the loop day or night. I love night time with full moon that shines thru the tree canopy covered roads. Fun at Halloween. Old wives tale of 2 toes the monster chasing you. Kids always love the drive
