Confirmed from Town of Union Conservancy Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tranquil natural spot featuring hiking trails of varying difficulty, plus scenic views.
What runners say about Town of Union Conservancy Area
“It's not well groomed so I'd recommend you use a proper mountain bike for it, other then that it's a very beautiful trail”
Great place to do some hiking, trail running, or cycling. If you follow the entire outside loop from the parking lot it's about 1.5 miles. River trail has some nice hills, the rest is pretty easy going. There's picnic tables, a fire pit, and a porta potty on site.
Great place to walk nature trails. 3 levels, from easy to advanced. Work in progress, as parking area still improving. Fire pit, and grilling area at pavilion. Absolutely beautiful views of chippewa river, and valley looking to the south. One of my favorite places to go.
Trails are in great shape, go to the top for a beautiful view of the Chippewa river. The wildflowers at the entrance are filled with butterflies and other pollinators right now(mid August). Beautiful spot to explore!
I love hiking here. Lots of pines and amazing trails with wonderful views. The only issue I realized is that there is hunting allowed there and you should always wear some sort of reflective clothing
