Confirmed from Half Moon Lake Boardwalk Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful trail, super well built boardwalk additions. I love having a connection between Carson Park and the Rod and Gun Park. Added bonus that the entire trail system is wheelchair-friendly and meets ADA compliance. Definitely a great addition to Eau Claire's robust trail system.
This is a really unique boardwalk trail that connects Carson Park to Rod & Gun Park along the southwest side of Halfmoon Lake. The trail is very close to the lake and suspended over the wetland habitat.
