Confirmed from Trailhead Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring picnic tables and multiple walking trails that head off in various directions.
What runners say about Trailhead Park
“But this leaves me with a beautiful memory.”
“This is a small quiet spot, great for picnics or a hand holding walk after dinner.”
“Very easy trail and nice for kids to walk as well.”
Nice trail in a quite area. A lot of nature and wildlife including bunnies, birds, ducks, etc. It's a combined bird watching/ listening and hiking experience. The light for pedestrian road crossing is very helpful. Low pedestrian traffic and bike traffic till now (April 2021).
Very nice park with decent trails. The trails here connect with some of the other parks in the area which is really cool. I take these trails in order to walk my dog to the vet. Park is very well maintained
A nice park in the West Lafayette Park system, that's connected in the trail system with parking, pavilions, and lots of things to see!
Pleasant small park with a shelter and map of the trails running through the surrounding areas.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
