We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (26 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

One of our go to spots when we need a little trail walk. A great one for kids or puppies!

★★★★★ — Sam , May 2021

Beautiful trail along the Spokane river, several good swimming spots. Just be aware of the dam. Certain areas are restricted due to water release and under current conditions. The trail can get a little rocky, sharp loose areas can be a ankle nightmare.

★★★★☆ — Steve , Sep 2020

Get used to saying hi with a smile since you will meet a bunch of really friendly North Idahoans on the trail

★★★★★ — Jeffrey , Jun 2021

The centennial trail that starts in Spokane Washington and goes to the far east side of the Coeur d'alene lake

★★★★★ — William , Apr 2023

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“This is a cool little parking spot that allows access down a trail to the rivers edge.”
