Confirmed from Tree Farm Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Gentle 2.8-mile loop through spruce & pine woods, ending at a pond with a fishing pier.

“Just around 3 miles, it's an easy trail that takes you through a nice wooded area.”
Not well marked, muddy at times, be prepared with hiking boots. High grass areas can stay wet for a long time. Just around 3 miles, it's an easy trail that takes you through a nice wooded area. Stop by the Horseshoe Pond where you can find picnic tables and a pavilion. Nice place to have lunch 👍🏻
Great trail with gentle, rolling elevation changes. Flat enough to comfortably XC ski, and good for all ages. Very enjoyable in the winter, although in the spring/summer it tends to be very muddy. There is one section where the smteail splits into a "Y"...
One of my favorite trails in CVNP. If you start it the right way, you’ll get a surprise ending by walking through the amazingly tall pine trees that cover you like a canopy, and it feels like you’re walking through a tunnel. Stunning lake views, and picnic shelter available.
Listed as an easy trail to walk according to the AllTrails site. While you can’t just walk around and take in the views of Horseshoe Pond, the trail itself is around 2.8 miles and does have some minor elevation changes in places along with some wet areas, but otherwise it’s a wonderful walk in the woods.
