Confirmed from Trefoil Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful park with a bike path that follows the river, popular for hiking and grilling.
What runners say about Trefoil Park
“The trail that runs through it follows the river and takes you through a beautiful wooded canopy that makes you feel like you're escaping the city.”
“You can hear the river as you walk or bike the trail and it's so peaceful.”
A very nice park for a walk, no bugs!! We saw a lot of people fishing too. A few people walking their beautiful fur babies. It would be great if there were more garbage cans. We did see a lot of garbage scattered about. Be careful of people riding those recumbent bikes! Yikes! They give no quarter.
I Absolutely love Trefoil Park just across from El Zagel golf course. In summer and fall l go there every day for my walking. Small beautiful peaceful park, ans picnic tables
We used the bike/walking path. A couple of lumpy spots, yet not significantly adverse. Generally nicely paved and scenic with several good river views and nice neighborhoods to pass through.
Nice forested area along the Red River with paved walking path, plenty of people fish here, and there is access and both sides of the river to view the remains of an old dam. Can be a very relaxing place to just sit and listed to the water flow over the rocks, great place to walk dogs as well.
