Confirmed from Trillium Ravine Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice, easy walk. Rather short, but enjoyed the walk along the ridge. There must have been some serious storm damage a few years ago; makes for some interesting deadfalls.

★★★★☆ — Melody , Nov 2023

Beautiful, beautiful. More trilliums than you can imagine. Quiet, no facilities, just a small trail and beauty. I go every year.

★★★★★ — Ellen , Apr 2025

A short trail loop offers some tranquil views of a small ravine. The flowers are lovely too.

★★★★☆ — Philip , Jun 2021

I loved the hike on this loop! My 3 year-old loved the storywalk! Whomever thought of it and sponsored it, are geniuses! Plus, the hike was beautiful and moderate. We walked it in May and only saw one tick at the end of it when we cleaned ourselves.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
