Confirmed from Trimble Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 6 mentions

“The campground is small and quiet and very peaceful.”

I came here for the first time this past Monday. A friend suggested it, and my fiancé and I have been wanting to go camping again, so we drove over here to check it out first. No one was in the office yet, so I went home and called back at 2 to get information about how we could set up the reservation.

Oh my gosh is this a hidden gem!! Gorgeous playground & park under high, Spanish moss-covered trees. Sure to be a hit with your family. Playground is a big worn, but it's large and was completely empty when we visited!

I found Trimble park by accident, it turned out a such pleasant surprise, and became my favorite park in Mt Dora area. It’s a wild jungle between 2 lakes, got both wooden walkways and natural dirt trails. There are plenty of picnic tables and grills, many are covered, perfect for picnic or BBQ parties.

This park is so peaceful. Great for a day picnic and hiking or enjoy the campgrounds. Surrounded by water you're likely to see a gator and lots of birds. I would definitely recommend this place to both locals or campers from other areas. Campground includes showers.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
