Confirmed from Trotter Bluff TVA Small Wild Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Trail that's easy to navigate and dog-friendly, with scenic views of the Douglas Dam.

I was looking for a short easy hike, and this fits the bill. It's a loop trail about .8 miles. There's a bench at the beginning of the trail, but that's the only one I noticed. There are some ups and downs, but not too bad. It's dog friendly, but please remember to pick up after your dog.
Great place. I'm disabled and can't do too many trails around here, but this one is short and easy. And very pretty.
Very nice trail that makes you feel like your in the deep woods! Not very strenuous at all. Would be suitable for young kids. Our 12 yr old really enjoyed it! Nothing like being out in the woods! One trail brings you to a view of Douglas Dam. We saw several different kinds of birds.
Really nice hiking trail. The main loop is about a mile in length. There's a secondary trail that basically runs through the middle. Very scenic, easy to walk.
