You could spend an eternity here and still find new trails and places to hike and see. I love it, and the hikes are very quiet for the most part despite being in the middle of a city. You will see people, but it’s never been “crowded” in my opinion. There is SO much protected land that can be explored.
Easy to find, right in Lake Oswego, plenty of parking, a visitor center with lots of information, and heated bathrooms. The trails are groomed well, mostly flat, but some that are a good workout. It's a beautiful forest, with many skyscraping trees of many kinds.

As beautiful as it was to walk some of the trails and enjoy the scenic views, this trail is always busy! I come here often, and there are always small children and people on bikes. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but be prepared for the lack of parking and crowded trails.
