Such a gorgeous hike! It's peaceful and quiet, you'll forget it's in the middle of a busy city. The trails are easy to follow and there's plenty of different ones you can go on to. There's a lot of bridges also, with benches throughout.
The trail can be a bit confusing if you didn’t have a map of the trail. But as long as you stay on the path you won’t get lost. You can park your car in the neighborhood. The trail is a bit long if planning to explore a large portion of it in a day. Though it is definitely worth the trip with the quietude inside.
I'm not a huge hiker that's why I loved that they had a few tails to fit the more experienced hikers. It was my 1st time on red fox trail , I had gone to the Tryon creek trail for years, but ohhhh my gosh this TED FOX TRAIL was so much more beautiful than the other side of this vast land of trails
Such a great place to hike! Lots of bridges and benches and creeks. I take my dog here and he has a blast!
