Confirmed from Tualatin Hills Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Absolutely love going for walks here. I have visited in every season over the past year and each one has something to offer. Look up at the towering trees, look down at tiny fungi, look out for wildlife. Always a fantastic adventure.

The last day of our week in Portland (10/14/25) and we came across this wonderful park. What a find! Wonderfully maintained trails. We walk the trails and before we knew it, it was 2 hours later! Not real busy for a Tuesday midday. Lovely end to our vacation.

Good photography spot. I was here at sunrise. Got lost in some shots with a bird, started walking and missed the chance to take photos of a coyote that had been just around the corner. Coyote ran off before I could get a shot. Relatively certain that the local mountain lion population use this park as a throughway.

Beautiful park, well maintained! Tried to find and capture owls, but didn't succeed, only captured a woodpecker :) It seems like the gate is always open, but an employee told me that the park is open only from sunrise. Anyways, worth to check out and have a nice walk! Enjoy some photos I took there recently :)

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🛣️ Paved surface 9 mentions

“For cycling on paved paths, a little difficult as it’s narrow and very populated, spent more time politely trying to get past people for a little cycle.”
