Confirmed from Turkey Run Park Entrance's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Park entrance has everything you need from bathrooms to water fountains to the access to a hiking trail as well as access to the Louisville loop. Head north towards pope lick for some easy flat ground Louisville loop South towards broad run for more hills. The field is colorful and beautiful all year round.

This park has a heavy focus on hiking, walking, and biking with various trails to accommodate all uses. From hilly terrain to gorges and valleys, the natural eye candy at this park is sure to please.

★★★★★ — Troy , Feb 2017

Well maintained and neat, this park entrance is a little off the beaten path. The parking lot has a couple of family bathrooms and a trail map. To the north/east, the loop meanders through creek bottoms while to the south, it heads through some flat wetlands until climbing over a few knobs.

There was a neat vintage barn that was a great spot for photos, senior photos, or any type of photo shoot! There are a couple of other spots also for alternate views! We loved going here. There was a big silo you can walk up about three stories high! Lots of land and trails to explore and we never got bored!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 8 mentions

“The crown jewel, IMO, the Silo Lookout at the Brown-Forman Silo Center featuring a restored grain silo with a spiral staircase leading to a spectacular view.”
