Confirmed from Twin Bridges Loop Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Twin Bridges Loop Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (23 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“On the trails that are on west side of the road going in, by the parking area, you walk along the creek, which is very scenic.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 6 mentions

“It’s not crowded, it’s quiet, and the trails offer a really nice selection that ranges between easy and fairly rugged.”

I really enjoyed this trail. It's sorta a hidden gem because it's not located in a park. Not very long, all together around 2 miles but still worth a walk. It has a few differnet trails you can choose from. I recommend taking a picture of the map before adventuring off.

★★★★★ — Marty , May 2017

Beautiful, wide, well laid out grassy trail. You will need shoes or boots you don't mind getting wet if you want to do the entire trail as there is a place you must cross the water.

★★★★★ — Lisa , May 2021

This is a hidden gem of Danville. Multiple little trails surrounded by beautiful nature. There is even a small off-trail to the creek where you could have an adorable little picnic lunch. The trails are maintained while still feeling rugged. A few narrow places as well as some stairs and steeper areas, so be prepared.

★★★★★ — Danielle , Aug 2025

I have loved this place for as long as I can remember. It's not a very tough trail but it's nice to get out in nature. Well kept trails, easy for any ages.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🤫 Quiet / uncrowded 6 mentions
