Confirmed from Union Cross Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park with a wide range of amenities, including lighted fields, courts & horseshoe pits.
What runners say about Union Cross Park
“Nice park, peaceful, clean little kid's family walking around.”
“Bonus was that there’s plenty of shaded seating and a sand pit/mini dune in the park that our kids absolutely loved!”
“Peaceful walking trail, cool old building, small playground, lots of courts for various sports, and I went on a fairly quiet Friday afternoon.”
This is a great park for most anyone. It’s very clean and the grounds are well kept. There are baseball fields, basketball courts, a walking track(gravel), volleyball, playground, pavilion, horseshoes and more. Kids love the play area, and there are nice climbing trees near the walking path to entertain them as well.
It's a very nice, clean park. Lots to do. Sand pit, that's a walk way, a roofed picnic area, playground, beach volleyball, basketball court, & more. 👍👍
My toddler loves playing in the sand pile here and the playground is nice but there is not much shade. There are also tennis courts and basketball courts and a walking track that is popular but at times it can be a little isolated. There is a building with bathrooms but sometimes it is locked so that is hit or miss
Practically everyone seems able to give salutations. I bring my Shih Tzu there almost everyday to walk the track, so real dog friendly. My grandkids have played at the playground, which is located in the picnic area
