Confirmed from Upper Colby's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Absolutely breathtaking views. This was my first hike up colby trail and my run ins with others and the nature was just amazing. I had thee most enjoyable 3 hour roughly 2 mile exploration all around this hidden gem.

The Colby Trail is 3.11 miles or about 5kms up stiff and steep hillsides. The trail is carved out for you to follow but how you climb the upper portion is up to you and your ability to maintain your balance. This trail is great for a WoD finisher as a cardio aspect. Also great just for the views at the top.

At just shy of a mile hike, this local trail makes for a quick stroll into nature. The grade is at a steady 20 - 25° so it is an easy hike for beginners. Street parking is available but very limited. The trail starts at the top of Lorraine Ave and ends at Glendora Mountain Road.

Glendora Mountains is a wonderful area. Not too widely advertised, not too touristy, lacks some facilities. Yet it's well worth a visit as trails are great, view is fantastic. Just one quick note: although trails are not too long they tend to be steep, strenuous.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
