Confirmed from Upper Fish Creek Falls' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Upper Fish Creek Falls
“It was tough for them but really enjoyed the waterfall at the top and the beautiful views.”
Very scenic hike. First part downhill from the parking lot is too easy, across the bridge, then moderately difficult up to a wooded area that is nice and easy, then up to a second bridge.
I can't believe it I made it to the top....but I did it. Beautiful place for hiking aloneor with family and or friends. Make sure you wear proper footwear and that you pack lightly, plenty of water and at least some snacks. The scenery is beautiful all over. Good place for kids, they will enjoy the walk.
It is about 2.5 miles from the parking lot to get here - so 5 miles round trip. The directions on the AllTrails app was helpful. Once you pass the first bridge from the parking lot it is all uphill and rather rocky.
Totally worth the extra couple miles past the initial bridge. Lots of people stopped at the second bridge and these second falls were only a half mile or so past that point. Absolutely beautiful, and you can get in the water at the base of the fall!
