Confirmed from UWGB Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about UWGB Trails
“Beautiful disc golf course located on a retired ball golf course.”
Great outdoor running/walking trails. Heads up though, I was on a run with my dog and was stopped by uniformed grounds keeper who told me dogs are not allowed. Kind of a bummer, but it is what it is. The trails are clear, clean, and kept up well throughout the year.
The trail it/themself are great. 'packed' woodchip, gravel, smaller paved areas in parts, plenty of scenery and a quick 4ish mile loop. The complaint on my end (or positive for some I guess), no dogs allowed. Keep it in mind if you like to run with your 4 legged family member.
W trails. Grew up running/biking here. They’re kind of falling apart, and they may be filled with weirdos later in the day, but they’re cool.
4.1 mile trail. Great place for a walk. Not to challenging, mostly flat with small hills. If the water is high some parts of the trail can be under water. You can run it if you like.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
