Confirmed from Valle View Reserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Valle View Reserve
My son loves this place! It's a nice little hike for toddlers. Just make sure you wear bug repellent & be mindful of the creek to the west of the path. If you play Pokemon Go there are 2 gyms & about 5 pokestops. The only drawback is the restroom faculties are only port a potties.
I have walked this little 0.6 mile loop trail both in late May and late December. It is short, but refreshing. It follows Beaver Creek, all in the woods. Today I saw about 10 male Mallard ducks and a few females on the water. I also saw a cardinal, a large hawk, countless robins, and a tufted titmouse.
This little wetland is tucked away in Fairborn. Chances are I would have never noticed it, except that the Fairborn Community Library installed a kids' nature walk through the area and I saw it in the paper. The walk is short and very (sometimes very, very) soggy. I mean, it is a wetlands.
A nice wooded park to take a walk in nature. Get away from the world and take A Walk in the Woods if you're lucky and comment the right Time of the year you may even find some Morel mushrooms. Show your little ones there's a moral life than video games and soccer It's a very relaxing place to get away from it all
