Confirmed from Valley Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Valley Creek Trail
“Very easy trails very access to mt misery which isn't difficult either but has lots uneven lose rocks so watch your step”
Nice flat, easy walk alongside the creek. There are several benches to stop and sit at if you'd like a break. Can be a bit crowded on weekends so wear a mask! Plenty of families, couples, and dogs out on the trail.
Hiked Mt Joy & Mt Misery trails. Great hilly walk. Mushrooms, trees, plants, wild flowers, birds, fish, water fall, ruins.
