Valley Forge is a truly remarkable location that played a crucial role in shaping the foundation of our nation. The rich history embedded within its grounds is absolutely captivating.
One of the top historic national parks across America. Extremely well laid out and maintained across hundreds of acres of pristine park land. Only about a half hour from Philadelphia downtown and minutes from the King of Prussia mall. Easily accessible from the Pennsylvania Turnpike, 202 and 422 highways.
Have been going to this park since I was little. While small compared to other parks, the history and available space makes it a personal favorite. You get the quiet from Plumb trail which makes it very accessible. Come here for the patriotism with the Memorial Arch and stay for the nature.
Beautiful, well maintained facilities. One of the best US National parks. Visitor center is really great. Bus tour is cherry on the top during those hot summer days or chilly winter or rain. Great options to do hiking, walking trails, biking, stretching, picnic, pets, anything you want to pursue with nature.
