Confirmed from Van Doren's Landing Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Google maps initially took me to the wrong location across the river, where it's not possible to park. The correct parking location is an 8 min drive. The park looks quite new and is a really good one. It has river and tubing access as well 4 different observation towers and a few trails.

Fantastic, nice upgrades on this park after the needed improvements on the levy. The park is along Green River Trail. Miles and miles of biking, walking, views, relaxing along the river. An eagle flew over as I was there, 4 otters in the river having a nice playful swim.

★★★★★ — 180Pika , May 2023

Van Doren's Landing Park has undergone a remarkable transformation and is now open for all to enjoy! The park's recent renovations have truly elevated its offerings, providing an enhanced experience for visitors. The expansion of the parking lot ensures convenient access for everyone.

★★★★★ — Rose , May 2023

It is a hidden gem along the Green River Trail. The only car access is off of 228th St. The city of Kent recently updated the entire park. It has two large covered picnic areas, restrooms, a large play area for the kids, an overlook tower, lots of paved trails for kids to ride bikes, and plenty of open spaces to walk…

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 14 mentions

“One of the notable additions is the upgraded restroom facilities, ensuring the comfort and convenience of park-goers.”
