Confirmed from Angle Lake Park Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Angle Lake Park Nature Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (19 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

A quaint path I found by this huge park next to the lake. It was so nice n quiet til some junkie rolled thru screaming nasty words with kiddos around got them thinking it's OK to act like that.

★★★★★ — Bobby , Jun 2025

This trail definitely exceeds expectations! It has some well-maintained lake-front spots, the gravel trails on the hill are fairly nice, and the paved main strip parallel to the lake is smooth but short. Can access from a connecting path just north of the Marriott.

★★★★☆ — Daniel , Aug 2024

Connected by a paved walkway through a narrow strip of property along the waterfront, this nature trail is a short walk south from the main part of Angle Lake Park. A dozen trees have small educational labels. As well, there are other signs along the rough dirt trail loop as it ascends ~20ft up away from the water.

Nice park and lovely (but short ) nature trail. We were pleasantly surprised by this little park, very nice and was a short walk from our hotel :-)

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
