Confirmed from Veterans Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“Beautiful park with waking track and bridge, with nice monuments honoring veterans, including one with my Daddys name on it!”

Uodate.. First time at this park fir the 4th of july fireworks. Its the perfect spot, all four corners shoot off fireworks. Less of a crowd. Our favorite of all the moore parks. Kids love the creek and the walking paths. Great memorial.

🎖️Beautiful Tribute and Lovely Park🎖️ I hope my pictures do this park justice! It's a lovely place to take a quiet stroll, walk the dog, ride your bike, or sit on a bench and contemplate life. There are also some playgrounds for the kiddos to enjoy.

★★★★★ — Casey , Jul 2024

The north end of the park is home to the memorial and statues and are definitely worth visiting. There is also a veterans themed playground for the kiddos. The south end of the park has a scenic walking path that is great for those looking for an easy stroll.

★★★★★ — Rebecca , Jun 2019

Nice park! It has 3 different playsets for kids to plays. They are mainly for kids around 7ish but everyone can still enjoy. The is a concrete walkway that is about a quarter-mile long. The path is not for running though as it has some sharp turns and a bridge located on it.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
