Confirmed from Veterans Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park area featuring a Gold Star veteran's monument, a tank, stream & picnic area.
What runners say about Veterans Park
“But Veterans’ is a lovely and well maintained park.”
“I have had some beautiful walks off the beaten path on the bike trails/frisbee course during working hours M-F or early in the morning on weekends.”
“This park also has a large fenced in dog park for those who love to let their dogs run off leash inside the 5 acre dog park”
This is a lovely, well kept park. I took my dog and husband out for a walk and we had a great time exploring Veterans Park. My favorite part was hiking along the creek and also searching for geocaches. I look forward to coming back and playing some Frisbee golf.
This park is dear to my heart with plenty of activity and healthy happy people around. I’ve gone to this park for over a decade now and when my children were very young and we would often hike down to the creek Skip rocks and fish. My last trip was just as equally as special as they all have been.
Great park for families to have a picnic, walk on paved walking trail or enjoy wide open greenspace. This park also has a large fenced in dog park for those who love to let their dogs run off leash inside the 5 acre dog park
Wow such a clean and well managed parked. I love the cleared out trails and it was fun to watch others enjoy frisbee golf.
