A pleasant small park near Mobile Bay in Daphne, AL. Beautiful, tall trees. Marked, unmarked trails, boardwalks, hard packed and less formal trails. Signage isn’t good but you can’t get too lost.
Always a great hike, beautiful trails, wonderful boardwalks and always lots of nature. This is one of the top 10 gems in Baldwin County! Today I found a hooded warbler, a lifer for me, so was super happy! If you hike straight in and take a left you end up on a boardwalk to the water.
If you’re looking for a quiet spot on the Eastern Shore to enjoy the natural habitat of Mobile Bay, this is the spot! Adjoining to nearby Bayfront Park, this location features a small beach and pier perfect for sunset watchers and nature lovers alike.
It's November 22, 2023 and we are from Kentucky visiting grandkids in Spanish Fort. Went for a 2 mile hike and enjoyed the balmy weather. Trails are well maintained and easy to follow. The trails we took were all wheelchair friendly. Our youngest is 4 and she handled the walk just fine. Highly recommend.
