We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Vineyard Mountain trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Vineyard Mountain trailhead
Hills, rock outcrops, and lake views. We saw a patch of Lavender fungi. We got here later in the evening and hiked about 7 hills=1 hour in/out. We were running out of daylight, so we will return to complete this trail another day.
Great place to hike, picnic, walk, disk golf. They have an awesome creek the kids can play in when the water is calm. We live to catch and release salamanders. There is a fee to park.
Relatively steep. Great if you’re looking for a quick workout. Trail maintenance is lacking- many trees down. Pretty trail though. Quiet. Not many people.
