Confirmed from Virgin River Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“But ultimately beautiful scenery and more often than not welcomed with a friendly smile and greeting crossing paths with people.”

It was a really nice walking trail I got to walk on. You basically follow the virgin river course until the very end of the virgin river walking trail and it’s a really nice and peaceful walk that you can do as well.

★★★★★ — Morgan , Dec 2024

Awesome trails. Hikers and casual cyclists beware road cyclists race thru. But ultimately beautiful scenery and more often than not welcomed with a friendly smile and greeting crossing paths with people.

★★★★☆ — G , Oct 2021

Excellent trail for walkers, families on roller blades/skates, skateboards, scooters, bicyclists and it is close to the virgin River. Best time of day earlier morning or early-mid evening time.

★★★★★ — Blozom , Jul 2022

First time walking on this trial, it was really relaxing and comfortable. I saw a really cute bunny! Beware the cyclists are bad at providing warning when they pass you.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
