Confirmed from Walden-Parke Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature conservation is a focus at this 410-acre area with many habitats including beaver wetlands.
What runners say about Walden-Parke Preserve
“Beautiful place for a walk though there are no directional signs and a couple people I know got lost.”
“Mid-March 2024, the trail is quiet, somewhat wet, but very reasonable to walk in boots.”
I love the Preserve. I am sad however that the Trust thought it needed updating by widening the trail- I felt it was perfect the way it was. It has lost the feeling of a trail; it now feels more like walking on a gravel road.
Came here to ride my bike. Trails are very rough with many rocks and roots. This place is better suited for hiking.
Not crowded. Connects to Bangor forest and Penjajawok at various points so there are several miles of trails
Road here with our mountain bikes. Trails were easy to challenging. Should be advertised more for biking.

“The main trail loop is wide and has tons of little side trails for the more adventurous type.”
