Not much more than a dirt path through the woods. Great if you're up for a little adventure. Expect snakes, ticks, spiders and mosquitoes. Path may be muddy a day or two after a thunderstorm, so plan for mud. Perfect to connect with nature!
Great trails especially for mountain biking! Very wooded area with all different types of terrain levels of difficulty. Roughly 15 miles or more of trails to explore near a revine as well
Hey parents! Yellow trail- great for kiddos: wide, flat, roots, gravel, mud. Green trail- more turns, roots, mud, gravel, some trail goes between trees, narrow trail, has the ridge section that is narrow and right near the stream has rolling hills, etc- better for more experienced and bigger kids.
The yellow trail was well kept and wide; I recommend it. Other trails were not well marked, smaller, and covered in leaves. We got lost on the green trail. Also, no garbage cans at the parking lot or inside the park. Not great when you are walking dogs and have poop bags to dispose of.
