Confirmed from Warwick County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Warwick County Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (177 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“🚵‍♂️ Plenty of people walk their dogs here with most, if not all, being mindful to clean up after pup!”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 9 mentions

“Hickory Hill Golf Course is a unique course, very long and very challenging in a beautiful setting.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Nice setting and calm atmosphere.”

A nicely maintained park. My wife and I went there to find a hiking trail. It took a while to find as the trail was not well marked... (by not well I mean not at all) but it was a nice hike. Our hike was however cut short when we ran into a bear and quickly turned tail and booked it back the direction we came from.

Small park offerings but suitable to most needs: golf course (Hickory Hills), ball field, small playground, covered pavilion for cook outs, grassy pathway around and though the woods offers a scenic walk for people and pups. Enjoy the weather and views of nature!

Great spot! I feel a little mixed about posting this review, honestly, because it’s a great hidden gem of solitude, tucked up the hill behind the Warwick Park-and-Ride. Its (beautiful) access road begins after you pass the golf course on the left.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
