Confirmed from The Madison Lewis Woodlands' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about The Madison Lewis Woodlands
Your GPS will direct you right in front of the entrance and directly across the street from homes. There are 3 parking spots marked with white lines. Park is great for a quick hike in the middle of the town. No playground and I didn't see a restroom.
Very nice spot right in the middle of the village for a short hike/stroll through the woods. Pretty, well maintained, and well marked. Parking was a little unclear, but I just tried to park out of the way.
Beautiful trail, lovely trees native and non-native. Recommend if you're in the mood for a short stroll and love nature, super local!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
