Confirmed from Wedgwood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space with baseball fields, tennis courts, a pickleball court, playgrounds, and picnic tables.
What runners say about Wedgwood Park
“Went there to have our family photos taken and the park really nice and clean.”
“There is a beautiful river you can wade in with a bridge that crosses over.”
A good city trail system runs through this park. It's great to walk on, start to finish. Found a great blue heron while walking through recently. Goes past a park, through woods, by a small creek and generally is a good trail for being in a city. The entire trail is paved.
I love to come to this nice little Park. And have Lunch or a meal. And use my solar panel to charge my Jackery power bank For the most part I can come here and relax unless The school behind the Park has loud music playing in their fleid The kids come play and go back to the school next door there's a nice little…
Absolutely love this park in Granville. They have such nice updated playgrounds, especially a lot safer for our 2-year-old who I feel uncomfortable around the bigger playgrounds. Has also a sandpit and a nice walking path around the back with a stream that runs across the path as well. Love this place!
Beautiful park attached to scenic walking trails. The creek is a highlight and many come to feed the ducks. Public restrooms, playground equipment, and water fountains available. It’s a great place to walk the dog and watch the kids play. Clean and always well maintained.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
