Confirmed from Weitkamp Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Clean park with a playground and a slide, as well as a sledding hill.

Nice place for families, individuals, puppy dogs on leashes, etc. Today I noticed how nice it was to stop at a park where I KNEW the bathrooms would not only be clean and functional but stocked properly with paper supplies. The stainless steel sinks and other fixtures have held up well through the years. Yippie.

It's a great place for sledding the big hill in winter and even flying kites! The Park Board used straw bales to bumper the trees to help cushion chance of collisions during sledding season. When the bathrooms are open during Spring, Summer and Fall you can stay here all day.

Love this park! Always clean, picnic tables ahs restrooms available. Little walking trail through park. Playground is far enough away from the street and parking lot to feel safe with little ones.

★★★★☆ — Bethany , Jun 2023

Beautiful park with excellent playground, bathrooms and walking trails. Kids really like the area and have no sand or wood chips. The equipment seems to be in good shape. Good place for a picnic too!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
