Confirmed from Weldon Spring Lewis & Clark Hiking Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular hiking area offering scenic overlooks and views of the Missouri River.

Great trail in excellent condition. Great views of the mighty Missouri River. Along with some good elevation changes makes this a fun trail
This trail is great. Beautiful scenery and views of the Missouri River. There were a lot of people there but it didn't feel crowded.
One of the best trails in the “Greater St. Louis” area. Beautiful land with plenty of variety in the terrain. You should expect to encounter mud most days but normally not too bad, the water/moisture/mud does stick around well after rain but don’t let that stop you.
This is my favorite hiking trail so far in Missouri. It is very, very long, and the trail is wide enough that you don’t have to worry about running into a spider web or anything like that (which is a very real concern on other trails). It is mostly shaded because you are covered by trees most of the time.
