Confirmed from West Lake Marion Mountain Bike Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about West Lake Marion Mountain Bike Trailhead
This is a fun trail and had more trail distance than I thought as they pack it in well. Green and some blue was great for my 7 year old on his fat bike. I was able to sneak off and do some blacks. They have some technical features and areas that are challenging.
Good for beginners. Good for experts. And everyone in-between. The trail crew has done an awesome job building over the last few years to make this system super fun.
This is an uber fun little track that literally has a little something for all riders. If you are an advanced rider and want to ride with a beginner, this is the perfect track as it will allow you to do a quick off shoot loop while your beginner stays on the inner loop.
I have great rides here. Something for all ability levels, well maintained trails, bike park is constantly being tinkered with so people can keep building skills (a jump line like what's at Monarch or Carver would be absolute money).
Trail conditions & character
“Awesome trail, as a novice this trail is super fun, and has a lot of more technical stuff for more experienced riders.”
“All of the trails connect well, meaning you can make a big loop or practice any small section over and over.”
“You can get a fair amount of elevation despite having no really long climbs by riding the "black" loops.”
“Lake Marion is right across from trailhead with boat launch restrooms and park amenities you probably can even go for a dip in the lake.”
