Confirmed from Wilbur Wright Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Very well kept trail with creative art structures! This trail makes for a relaxing walk with your kids, pets or significant other. This trail is a place where health and community are developed.

★★★★★ — Kenzie , May 2018

This is one of the most pleasant rail trails I've walked. The scenery (and wildlife you encounter) is beautiful, and gently rolling terrain gives you just enough of a challenge to be interesting. It is paved, so it is very walkable and wonderful for biking as well.

★★★★★ — Jmtpubs , Jun 2020

Very scenic route. The trail stretches on for a while, and very soon it will have another big addition to it. Great to go on by yourself and enjoy nature, or excercise. Personally it's more fun to go with friends though.

★★★★★ — Hunter , Oct 2017

Excellent 6 mile roundtrip paved and well-maintained walking/biking trail. Beautiful local scenery through peaceful fields and forested areas.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
