Confirmed from Wildwood County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park, woodsy area with hiking trails and bridges, including a pedestrian suspension bridge .
What runners say about Wildwood County Park
“Nice peaceful place to collect my thoughts.”
A nice place to spend an hour or so walking the trails. It's pretty secluded and quiet. The bridge is really cool! In general, the trails are quite easy. They wind through a few slightly open areas, but mostly, you go through some nice woods.
A two for one on bridges at this county park! We loved the suspension bridge, very unique and cool. A lot of the trail was wide and well maintained, but to do the full loop you have to get through a deer-path-like section with stinging nettle, as other reviewers have noted.
I love this park. It has excellent walking trails and of course you can't overlook the awesome bridge. I walk the bridge as a form of physical therapy for vertigo. It's also good for other balance therapies. The bridge is study old - fashioned style rope bridge.
The park is pretty well hidden. After 8 years of living in the area, only just recently found out about it. It's nice and woodsy, perfect for a short walk. Not a lot of great views like Williams or Rasmussen though.
