Confirmed from Wildwood Trailhead at Germantown Rd's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking and running trails through lush, tree-filled woods, with sections of wide paths. Dogs permitted.
What runners say about Wildwood Trailhead at Germantown Rd
“The trail is well maintained and you have the option of taking alternative paths off the wildwood trail.”
“The loop to Newberry road and back is just beautiful, all of its 10 miles.”
Beautiful are to hike and lots of trail. You can go in many directions and walk a mile or 5 miles depending on your choices.
It's a great place for a dog walkie. The trails are a bit narrow but wide enough for 2 people to walk at the same time for the most part.
Hey, the parking situation was a bit rough, but we managed to find a spot. This lady parked so close behind us, we couldn't even get out of our car. And she was just standing there next to her car, not even offering to move it for us! But other than that, it was a great place for that hike.
Such a wonderful experience and having this in our backyard is a blessing! We Know Portland and We Love Forest Park! Great trails and hikes of all levels. Working up for bigger hikes and this place is a great place to start and with all the green foliage it's cooler and you get all that fresh air!
